Chihuahua Breeder Reviews From Families Who Have Our Puppies

These are the families who have one of our puppies, at home with the dogs we raised in our family home in Minneapolis. Every picture was shared with us by the people in it, and we never write reviews ourselves.

How We Handle Reviews

Our rule is simple: if a family did not send it, it does not go on this page. Some families write a few lines, others just send a picture of their dog asleep on the couch. When there are no words, we add a short caption of our own and make it clear that it is ours. We do not edit a family's words to sound better, and we do not remove a review because it mentions something that went less than perfectly in the first week.

The thing we ask every family for, once their dog is grown, is its adult weight. We estimate every puppy's adult size from the parents' weights and the daily weight log we keep from birth, and the only honest way to show how good those estimates are is to hear back from the families a year later.

How to Check Any Chihuahua Breeder's Reviews

Any website can show five stars. Before you send a deposit to anyone, including us, run these checks. They take about ten minutes.

Do the same with the puppy pictures on our teacup Chihuahua puppies for sale page. We take them ourselves, in our own house, and you will not find them listed under another name. Stolen photos are the most common sign of a fake puppy listing, and our guide to avoiding Chihuahua puppy scams covers the rest.

Better Questions Than Reviews

Reviews are one check. These questions tell you more, and a breeder who really raised the litter answers them without hesitating:

  • Can I meet the mother, in person or on pickup day?
  • What do both parents weigh as adults, in pounds?
  • What does the puppy eat, and how often?
  • Does a weight log come home with the puppy?
  • What exactly does the written health guarantee cover?

Ask us every one of them. Our puppies go home with a daily weight log and a written 1-year genetic health guarantee, and you can read the terms on our health guarantee page before you apply.

Questions About Our Reviews

Are your Chihuahua breeder reviews real?

Yes. Everything on this page came from families who have one of our puppies, shared with their permission. We do not use stock images and we never write a review ourselves. If a family sends a picture but no words, we show the picture with our own short caption and do not put words in their mouth.

How do I leave a review for Twin Cities Chihuahuas?

Send us a picture of your Chihuahua at home and a few lines about how things are going, and tell us we may share it. We publish your words as you wrote them. If your dog is fully grown, include its adult weight, because that number helps the next family judge how close our size estimates come.

How can I tell if a breeder's reviews are fake?

Run the pictures through a reverse image search. Stolen puppy and family photos turn up on several websites under different names. Be wary of reviews that all sound alike, that never mention a puppy by name, or that exist only on the seller's own site. Then call the breeder and ask questions only the real raiser could answer.

Can I talk to a family who bought a puppy from you?

Ask us. Some of our families are happy to talk with people who are thinking about a puppy from us, and when one has agreed, we will put you in touch. We will never pass your details on without asking you first, and we never share a family's contact details without their permission either.
